A Command To Obey

I woke up the morning of wed 8/02/23 and I heard:

Wake up soldier you're in the Kingdom now, Heaven on earth.

I thought He had brought heaven on earth.

When we dream where do we go?

When we wake up are we actually in the world we left?

We buy million dollar homes,

We spend $100,000 on our vehicles,

We drop $100 out on a Tuesday night over an early dinner,

Yet we can't seem to spend the time thanking God and seeking him.

We listen for his voice yet we disobey His calling when he tugs at our heart and calls us towards him. Truth bombs and written psalms is all it really takes, for a settling of our spirit, maybe THEN they will hear it. The calling of his voice, a command to obey. Let us turn our eyes towards him and never look away.

What's it going to take another death? another day?

The Calling of his voice a command to obey.

"Follow me" He said, as we try to look away,

My knees knocked,

My shoulders went back, and my head tilted up as HE gave me the strength to step forward this day.

His voice was bold yet comforting and didn't scare me at all,

Even when I realized I most certainly could fall.

I turned my eyes towards him and never looked away.

He stretched me.

He grew me until I stood tall.

Not because of what I did but because of the nature of it all.

He gave me life and loved me for who I am.

No riches no glory, I'm just a simple man.

Who loves the Lord and answered his call.

That's all he wanted most of all.

It was only EVERYTHING.

When we get out of our own way, we can smell the presence of the Lord. His presence is upon me. The glory of the Lord is here.

Let us be humble in the spirit and sharp as a sword as we walk forth in faith to hear upon the Lord.

His word came mighty and shifted the atmosphere to let all of us know that God was truly here.

Our hearts got weary and we immediately started to doubt because we expected something different, We expected him to shout.

He came in like a lion yet gentle as a lamb to tell us where to go and to make sure we obeyed his command.

"Don't miss a single word" HE said for this will turn the land that grew hard and dry over the years of pain,

go to the place I tell you to and I will bring the rain.

It will pour so much you'll know it was me, There will be no doubt, Soon you will see.
