We Are Dirty.

"If I don't wash your feet, You are not one of my people" (John 13:8 NCV)

This cleansing is a necessity. Here's the thing.... Unless we confess we are dirty... We will never be cleansed. Furthermore, "We won't be able to wash the feet of those who have hurt us until we allow Jesus, the one we have hurt, to wash ours."

Busy, busy busy. We are so busy. Over the past several weeks there have been many ups and downs. One moment we are on a super high level. Oh holy high! The next? A low. There's a lesson here. ⚔️

As I sit and pray with my eyes closed and my ears and my heart wide open I grow weary yet I recognize how busy, busy busy we are. So many phone calls that go unanswered, So many texts that are left unread. I am left with a question....

Why? Have we gone so far to the right or to the left that we are missing the simple path right in front of us? Are we working so hard to climb up the ladder only to find the top rung of that ladder is leaned up against the wrong peak?

Many mountains I've run. Many I've walked. Many I have stood and simply looked at while gazing upon the many peaks and mountains behind them.

Out of all the right things that are happening in the world, We wake up daily and miss more than we recognize. Do yourself a favor and be still. Listen to the way nature moves. Listen for that ever so gentle Whisper. Feel the heartbeat sitting next to you. If you want to have some real fun, feel your own heartbeat and recognize how important you actually are. 💙 It'll just about smack you in the face when you realize how unimportant the many things we do become.

One of the major things I've learned in life? Never give up. It's at that moment right when you feel like you can no longer breathe and you are drowning and being swallowed up by this amazing thing we call "a life" the miracle happens.

We can find ourselves on our knees punching the sky asking why? why? why?

Sometimes we get an answer immediately, often, We don't get the answer until years down the road. Many of us need more delayed gratification as it's in the waiting where the blessing often is.
