A Snapshot Of Life

What I'm about to write is a little difficult to explain yet I'm going to continue forward as I try to simplify what we see.....

This picture right here, It's a snapshot. Our life is much greater than the snapshot. When we look at our life over the span of the years that we have existed on this earth, We get a larger picture. We call that a lifetime. Yet we can still take it a little further, this lifetime perspective is still only a portion of our whole life. In actuality, there's probably more that we have forgotten than what we remember.

Most of what we see and feel on a daily basis is only a snapshot of a small portion of our life. Most of our life cannot even be remembered.

As I sit here focusing on the moment that we had when this picture was snapped. I am left wondering and pondering all the little moments both challenging and miraculous that we have had over a lifetime that have led us to where we are today. I am also left, praying and asking myself, How is this all held together? There are many different answers that will fit into the proper categories. We believe the most important one is love. 💙

Jenny and I have been together since 2004. That's a lot of moments. That's a lot of experiences. That's a lot of challenges and a lot of amazing times. Just sit and think for a moment about your significant other and if you don't have a significant other, think about all the people that you have been in relationships with or are in a relationship with. Think about the opportunities you have. Think about the miraculous moments that we tend to take for granted.

When we sit with this we quickly recognize. Yes, life can feel very challenging and long, but in truth our breaths are limited. So the question I'm left with is:

What am I going to do and what are you going to do with the life that is left to be lived?

Will we hold grudges?

Will we be paralyzed by shame?

Will we judge others?

Will we set traps for others to get lost in the chaos?

Will we hurt each other?

Will we take advantage of each other for our own personal gain?

Or....

Will we seek who we truly are?

Will we actually live life?

Will we love one another?

Will we take the time to be present in the moment?

Will we make the phone call that we never wanted to make?

Will we actually become who we were created to become?

Will we start to share our gifts with the world?

Will we share our testimonies?

Will we help others?

The choice is ours.
